Marshmallow Fondant
Hockey Day in Beeton is a annual event that my family participates in because my two girls are the goalies for their respected teams. It is a fun day that involves everyone and hopefully raises some money for the Athletic Association.  Last year I made cookies with Bees on them using marshmallow fondant.  It is fun and easy to play with, and it taste oh so much better then real fondant.  This is a kid friendly activity. I am preparing to make something similar but less involved.  I say less involved because last years ambition cookies had an assembly line and took a lot of time.  Yes they were cute, tasty and sold out fast.  They took a long time to make.  I will dig out photos and share them when I share this years so you can fully appreciate what I mean.  They had 3 colours and we made bee bodies, and wings, and bee trails using chocolate sprinkles.  Oh ya and I made 2 honey comb shaped cooking cutters to cut the cookie and the blue fondant back ground.  This year I think I might try to do some tie dyed fondant and just use a couple of cookie cutters. Last year I made too much fondant.  A batch for each colour.  Silly me.  Lesson learned. Here is the fondant recipe if you are interested. Marshmallow Fondant
