Here we are, it is the end of February and I find myself looking forward to the first day I can go for a ride. It's not that I don't like the snow or the winter. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I just really love the ride. For those of you who don't know me last year I got my M2. I have wanted it since I was a very little girl. There is a picture of me when I was 2 years old on the back of a motorcycle and every time I saw it I thought that is what I want. That is where I want to be. So last year my wonderful husband and I went to Georgian college for the motorcyle course. So of course we both had to have our own bikes because neither one of us like to be a passenger. So I bought my little 250 Suzuki Maurader, and about a month later Mike got his Suzuki Intruder. So now they are tucked away with their little battery chargers waiting for the first signs of spring, when I will try to sell my baby and get something that fits me. Until then I will sit and daydream about my baby. I am sure I will blog about my bike experiences again. I do like to go on.
On a related topic I just thought I would share this:
You ever notice that when you have a interest in something that everything related stands out. I was driving(not riding) through the Tim Hortins in Tottenham last summer and I saw this(below photo). It brought out a lot of interesting ideas so I felt I needed a picture to share because I didn't think anyone would believe me. I am pretty sure it was not actually used as a kiddie seat, but first thing I though was red neck kid seat.
Could you imagine someone actually trying this. I'm sure it was something seen at the end of the road and the rider thought he(or she) should grab it before someone else did, but it does give an interesting mental image. I think it would probably cause a lot of drag. I hope they didn't have too long a ride to get home.
